What do you get when you add a sock, some rice and a piece of string? Why the Easter Bunny of course!
Easter is not a big deal here at all. In fact, most of the students knew about Easter, but had no idea when it was. And I had to teach them a new vocal word: Bunny! (They only knew rabbit.)
So after talking about easter, speaking class became arts and craft class, as they all made their own little easter bunnies. Here is a collection of some of the cutest.

The bunny making factory.

Make your own sock bunny!
You’ll Need:

  • A sock
  • Rice
  • A rubber band
  • A piece of nice string or ribbon
  • Markers
  • Scissors

Fill the sock halfway up with rice (to the heel). Put the rubber band around the middle of the sock, where the rice stops, sealing it up. Using the scissors, cut the top of the sock in half, down to the rubber band, to make two ears.
Then, take the piece of string, or ribbon, and tie it around the middle of the rice filled part to make two sections, a head and a belly. Then, break out the pens to decorate as you’d like!
Happy Easter Everyone! Don’t get too sick eating Creme Eggs and Jelly Beans!
