My favorite word in Chinese is 饼，bing, which means a round, flat cake. Many, many things are called bing’s in China and I’m happy to try them all. This was my first street food in Taiwan, a kind of flat bread with an egg cooked on the bottom, then decorated with a sauce I got to choose. Yummmmm.
